Station Gorinchem is geopend in 1883. In 1971 is het oude stationsgebouw vervangen door het huidige stationsgebouw, wat gebouwd is op de fundamenten van het oude station. Het station ligt langs de lijn [[Dordrecht]] - [[Geldermalsen]] en wordt bediend door Arriva.
