== Geschiedenis ==
Op [[Dienstregeling concessie VRR 2018#Dienstregeling 2018 Vestische|14 juli 2018]] vonden er grote wijzigingen in het busvervoer van de Stadt Bottrop en Kreis Recklinghausen plaats. Lijn 262 ging een andere route rijden tussen het ZOB en Eigen, waarbij in de stadsdelen Batenbrock en Eigen de bediening enkele haltes werd uitgewisseld met [[Lijn 264 Bottrop, Börenstraße - Hauptbahnhof|lijn 264]]. De frequenties bleven ongewijzigd.
